Hotel Obsidian Blue

This was the worst hotel experience I’ve had across all my stays. I booked a room at Hotel Obsedian Blue of Itanagar for around ₹4500 before taxes and paid ₹2000 in advance. I cancelled at least six hours before check-in on the day, but got no money back. The front desk men and HR said it was the policy. When I asked to see the policy papers, they had none and only gave verbal explanations. I asked for half the advance back, but they refused and wouldn’t budge. I left quietly with a terrible experience. The worst of all!

I mistakenly paid an extra 2k, but the manager refused to return it even after I asked many times. The manager behaved very badly and doesn’t know how to deal with customers. All the services are very bad. My only request to the owner is to give my money back.

The breakfast buffet and on-site amenities were highlights for me. Check-in was quick and smooth, and my room was spacious, spotless, and had a very comfortable bed. I appreciated the complimentary water and toiletries, too. From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. I had an amazing, relaxing stay and highly recommend the hotel. I’ll definitely come back!

The food and location are good, and the staff were cooperative and informative. When we asked, they moved us to a better room. The room quality was poor, though: the TVs didn’t work, and a bathroom tap leaked all night.
