Hotel Kanishka Residency by OYO Rooms

The staff were cooperative, and there was lots of parking space and a lift. Rooms were spacious, neat and clean, and the kitchen had started operating. The outside of the hotel looked fabulous too. You can rent personal bikes like Royal Enfield and cars at very economical rates. It's couple-friendly and accepts local IDs.

Room service was very poor, though the rooms had plenty of space and were good. Parking felt safe.

Basic amenities became a hassle because you had to keep asking, and they would eventually stop answering calls. The bedsheets and blankets were dirty, the almirahs were broken, cleaning was inadequate, and the water arrangements weren't proper. The solar geysers could fail at any time, with no backup for hot water, and the rooms didn't have proper lighting. They even use the same toilet brush on the toilet seats and washbasins. Yuck!

The price keeps going up, so it doesn't feel like a good deal and they don't offer the best deals. The stay itself was good, though: service, cleaning and location were all good.
