Artisav House

Artisav house has lovely interiors, mixing Jaipur’s arts and crafts with a modern feel. The property is very clean and comfortable, and the staff were so welcoming and accommodating that we felt at home. It's a 30-minute drive, making it a peaceful place to retreat to after long days in the busy city. Highly recommend it for a Jaipur visit.

The penthouse room is well worth it for the views. Waking up to the Aravalli Hills and Amber fort was a real treat. Artisav house has a beautiful mix of Rajasthani style and a clean Japanese aesthetic, and all the little details felt considered. The owner is kind and knowledgeable, and runs a gorgeous boutique with special Indian handcrafted pieces. The gentleman who works in the property and kitchen was very kind too, and everyone gave us a warm welcome. As other reviews mention, it can be noisy in the area before 10pm. We were there between weddings and a festival at the local temple, but it didn't spoil our stay.

I've returned to Artisav several times and always enjoy it. It's in the Amer area, much quieter than central Jaipur, and feels like a welcome breather from the city. The homestay is warm, beautiful, and thoughtfully designed. I especially like the story behind the place: the owners work closely with tribal communities to create and export hand-embroidered clothing, supporting traditional craftsmanship. There's a small shop inside where you can see and buy the pieces. For a calm, characterful stay with a meaningful story, I'd absolutely recommend Artisav.

The chef made some of the best Indian food we had, cooked from scratch after we ordered so the ingredients could be bought fresh. They also handled our special spice needs, and we had no complaints. Amit and Co. were wonderfully friendly and always ready to help. After getting worn out by India's bustle, we needed somewhere restful, and Artisav House was just right. The house and neighborhood were peaceful, aside from music from a wedding venue, which felt normal for India. We spent two restful nights in the lovely Jaipur room, with its mountain view. Getting to and from the city and Amber Fort by Uber was easy. A home away from home, and we'd happily return to Jaipur. 10/10.
