The one thing that worked was the AC, which helped us get through the night. We arrived at 1 am after travelling from Gandhinagar and had picked this as a stop before continuing our journey, so we just lay down for a few hours and left early. I'd booked through MMT because it was listed as a Fab hotel, and I've had good stays at FabHotels in other cities, but this was awful. The room smelled, the bedsheet and blanket had lots of cigarette burns, and the headboard was filthy. The cabinets were broken, with stains by the wastebin and on the walls. I only spent about five hours there to sleep.

The rooms were dirty, unhygienic, and felt unsafe. Staff at reception were drunk at night, gave poor service, and got angry or made faces when we asked for cleaning, a bedsheet change, or anything else we didn't like in the room. I stayed at jaya palace for one night and had a very bad experience. If you're thinking of coming with family, I'd say don't. I ask OYO to check the staff and hotel before tying up with a property, and make sure staff know the basics of dealing with customers and clients. Please stay safe.

There's a bar, and people drink there and then bother hotel guests. The rooms are cheap and low quality, and the staff are cheap too. Better avoid this place.

The washroom was a terrible experience. The owner ought to be more careful about whom they appoint as manager. This place seems to get picked as a two- or three-hour couples' nest 😜😜.

The basement bar serves tasty starters and cold beer for just 200rs. For chakna, they give you chane and chutney. It's a decent hotel.
