Collection O Salasar Palace

We’d paid for a room for our driver, but the hotel cancelled the booking because they’d overbooked and then refused to give him a room or return our money. The manager and receptionists were extremely rude. They said there were 18 Oyo bookings for just 10 rooms. They’ve turned the hotel into a makeshift pleasure house, a bunch of hooligans. Don’t go!

I booked through OYO, but Collection O Hotel Salasar Palace demanded twice the price when I arrived and said they wouldn’t honor my confirmed reservation. The staff were rude and refused to check me in. I spent three hours trying to sort it out, repeatedly calling OYO customer support. They kept trying to connect me with the owner, who made excuses and brushed me off. During one support call, the owner took my phone, muted it, and ended the call after using abusive language. The receptionist and owner seemed to be the same person, and I felt they were trying to scam guests. I left without a resolution and had to fight OYO for a refund. The hotel is unreliable and unprofessional. I strongly recommend finding somewhere else.

The room itself was good, but it wasn’t clean. I prepaid through Oyo for one day and was charged extra at check-in. Staff Subhash asked for more money too. At checkout, the front desk guy took my phone by force and gave the hotel five stars on the app himself. I’d tell people not to book here.

They demanded more than the agreed price, refused to let us in, and gave us attitude. Shitty hotel.
