Glorious Resort by OYO Rooms

There was an unpleasant smell in the resort garden. If they sort that out, I’d give it five stars.

I spent two days here, and nothing worked well. The toilets were dirty, the rooms smelled bad, the AC didn’t work, and the facilities were inadequate. There’s no restaurant or WiFi, and there was no TV connection either. When I asked them to recharge the set-top box, the staff disappeared. You have to chase them for everything. Room service and maintenance were terrible, and the staff were the worst. They charge more than nearby hotels without providing the facilities, so I wouldn’t recommend it to families. All the positive reviews seem to be from people they know. Sorry, but the rating scale doesn’t let me give less than one star.

We attended a wedding here. The rooms were good, though the bathrooms had no exhaust fan. There was a large opening in the wall without a mesh, so mosquitoes could get in. The staff were cooperative. Our room hadn’t been cleaned properly, but the previous guests had checked out that same day, which was understandable. We asked housekeeping to clean it again, and they fixed it within ten minutes.

They have parking, plus their own garden and banquet hall for functions. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the staff behaved well. A very nice hotel and good value for the money.
