Hotel & BNB Solanki Residency Jaipur

The homemade food was delicious, and I really enjoyed the Rajasthani hospitality. The family made me feel at home, while the room was clean and comfortable. I had a wonderful stay at the Solanki Homestay and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

The bed and mattress were poor, and the blankets smelled bad. There was a bad smell as soon as I went in, too. The power was out all night with no backup, and the owner didn’t answer despite my many calls. It’s on the outskirts, despite what I was told about being near the airport, and the road was very bad. The property was very different from the pictures. I don’t recommend booking it.

There was no proper lock, so I didn’t feel safe. Two rooms share a bathroom, which was also a problem, and cleanliness was poor. The bed and mattress were bad, the sheets were messy, and there was a bad smell. Power was out all night with no backup, and outside noise was disturbing. The owner didn’t answer my repeated calls. The place looked nothing like the pictures, sits outside the city, and the area was very bad. I don’t recommend booking.

We spent a week in a fully furnished two-bedroom apartment on the first floor, and the balcony sunsets were lovely. It’s away from the congested parts of the city, and the kitchen was fully equipped. We were a family of four, so having just one bathroom meant taking turns and waiting. Still, at 1500 per day, it’s an absolute steal. I’d recommend it to anyone after a comfortable, homely stay at a reasonable price in Jaipur. There are different floors and apartments.
