Hotel Mayaa Mansion

If you're watching your budget and only staying a day or two, this place is decent for what you pay. Cleanliness could be better, and breakfast wasn't great. In the evening, smoke from the restaurant downstairs fills the area.

The staff who have been here a long time are still hospitable, though they've got a funky new look, and the ambience has recently been spruced up nicely. I didn't enjoy the food much this time, after the name change. Before that, it was a delight every time and a straight 5 star!

The staff were friendly and courteous, but what good is that when the stay had these problems? I got hurt and found glass particles, with my toe bleeding, then spotted broken glass on the floor. The geysers didn't work, and there was hair in our bed. Take off the pillow cover and you'll see what I mean. From the window you can look at garbage, or listen to the street horns. Food is kind of expensive. I wouldn't recommend it.

The room was spacious and had the basic necessities. It's in the city center, with the historic Rajmandir cinema hall about half a kilometer away. Food at the hotel is very expensive, though there are plenty of nearby options at different prices.
