Hotel Rawat

If you’re visiting this side, give the hotel a try. It has nice rooms and a great buffet hall, and you’ll love the service and food.

The food is nice. rawat is especially known for the taste and variety of its kachories.

The management were uneducated and unprofessional in their discussion. I booked a room online, but when I arrived they refused to check me in, saying there were no rooms available. This is a very bad hotel for a stay, a total fraud.

My confirmed MMT booking was for 6:00 PM, but the room wasn’t available or ready when I got there. Staff told me to wait another hour on the roadside, since the property is right on the main road, then later said the room wouldn’t be available at all. The staff were unprofessional, cleaning was poor, water leaked in the rooms, and requests were mostly ignored. It’s listed on MMT as having parking, but there’s no parking, which was a real inconvenience. It’s presented as a hotel, though in reality it’s mainly a sweet shop with a few rooms. The property is managed by OYO, and prepaid bookings are non-refundable, so guests have little recourse once they’ve paid. If you want to waste time looking for parking and making endless calls to MMT and OYO customer service, this might suit you. Otherwise, I strongly recommend avoiding it.
