They won’t refund your money. They take payment and then say they don’t have any of it. Very poor management. Guests also report dirt and dust, filthy space under the beds, and reused towels and linens. Some complain about staff who are indifferent or unprofessional, especially at the front desk, and about management ignoring complaints. The hotel can feel overpriced for the quality of the food and amenities. Basic bathroom items are sometimes used for cleaning, and beds or towels can be unsanitary.

Lalkothi is nearby, with easy access to the main road, shops, and restaurants, so it’s a handy base for exploring the city. My family and I had a great stay. The rooms were cozy and comfortable, with AC, a Geyser, Wifi, and TV. They were clean and well maintained, and the spacious bathrooms were in good condition. There was even a separate changing room for privacy. The service and staff behavior were good, too.

Most of my experience was positive, but I was disappointed that I couldn’t have a friend visit for a few hours. I’d checked in alone and hadn’t mentioned guests in advance. I understand there are policies, but the way staff handled it left me uncomfortable and embarrassed in front of my friend. A little more flexibility or empathy would have helped a lot.

The furniture and bed were comfortable, and the hotel is new, but the room had not been cleaned properly before guests were accepted. I found bugs on the bedsheets and table, though I don’t know what kind. There was poor ventilation and no window, so the room felt like a cage. The hotel was under construction, with only some rooms available to rent. The halls, lift, and other areas were covered in dust, with mess all around. I checked in late in the evening, tired, and staff were rude and insisted I pay before I’d even seen the room. I wasn’t sure I had enough cash, and they just pointed out that an ATM was nearby. I stayed for a week, but communicating with staff was difficult. They barely spoke English and didn’t seem willing to understand me even with a translator. I felt they wanted to get away from me instead of helping. I’m disappointed.
