Hotel Shri Laxmi Palace by OYO Rooms

We stayed in rooms 103 & 108. There was no hot water in the bathroom before 7.45 am, which tourists may need early, and breakfast was never served before 8.00 am. There’s no lift, so you have to carry your own luggage. Only one switch controls all the room lights, and the rooms aren’t up to the mark. Overall, I wouldn’t give this a suitable rating for tourists.

I booked a room through OYO ROOMS for ₹2237 for 4 days. At first I thought this place was better than others, and it cost me about ₹550 out of pocket with no hidden charges. There aren’t many staff, so it can take longer than usual to get what you need. That was okay, though. For quality I’d give it 5/5, with only 2 stars deducted for the service and a few minor messes.

Even though I’d paid through Oyo and booked three days ahead, the hotel staff wouldn’t let me check in when I arrived. They told me to contact Oyo and find somewhere else. I spent a lot of time trying to sort it out with both the hotel and Oyo, but got nowhere, and then had to pay extra for a last-minute room elsewhere. It was a really stressful hassle.

He was asking for more money because, he said, Oyo pays too little. I’d already paid through Oyo, but he still refused to let me check in. After I complained, we settled the issue.
