Maru Casa

The worst part was waking up to a cold shower in winter. The geyser was tiny and didn't work. Breakfast came with the room, but the choices were just poha, paranthas, eggs made to order, and bananas, which hardly felt like a basic spread. We got two 500 ml water bottles, and when we asked for more, they offered no RO water and charged us for two extra bottles. The bathroom had a toothbrush kit and two little soaps for both bathing and handwashing. The towels were stiff and papery. We booked at the last minute in the evening. Room 205 reeked of cigarette smoke, and when we complained, the hotel incharge said there were no rooms without the smell and offered room freshner. My wife and I don't smoke, so it was awful. They moved us to 305, but it was much too small. MMT listed the superior room as 255 sq ft. When I asked about the size, the hotel incharge said he didn't know what MMT showed because the sales team handled it. The room was dirty too, with plastic spoons and other things behind the open mini bar refrigerator, which wasn't even plugged in. The staff and management showed no professionalism or courtesy. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

The food was better than we expected, and the staff were polite and helpful throughout. We spent three days here and found the stay comfortable and enjoyable. We'd happily recommend it.

Hotel Maru Casa is handy for getting around Jaipur, with major attractions nearby. The restaurant's food had authentic flavors, and breakfast was fresh and satisfying. Our room was spacious, spotless, nicely designed, and had the comforts we needed. The beds were especially cozy. Staff were humble and professional, and paid attention to details that made us feel valued. For the stay and service, it exceeded our expectations and felt like good value.

It's a short walk from sindhi camp bus stop, and major spots in Jaipur are easy to reach. Check-in was simple and the staff were polite. I've stayed here twice over the past two years, and both visits were good.
