Neverland Hostel

The location works well with a travel plan, and the place was clean, with friendly staff. It's an affordable option for a short trip, with enough facilities for the price. The dorms are cramped, though, and in summer I'd avoid the ones without air conditioning. Still a good budget stay.

I didn't end up staying here, though I booked after reading a lot of reviews. The staff seemed good, and the watchman I met at the building gate was helpful, suggesting easy routes to tourist spots. It's away from the city's bustle, but hard to find since there isn't a signboard. A hostel can be a good budget choice for solo travel.

The calm atmosphere was just what I needed, and the bedrooms were quiet and really clean, as were the shared rooms. The beds were very nice, and the staff were kind and helpful. I've stayed in a lot of hostels, and this was one of the best. I could almost have lived here.

It's close to good places to eat and the old city, but the hostel is hard to spot from outside. There are no signs, so you'll need to call the owner for directions. It's a penthouse on the third floor, and the inside is quite dark. There were no lights in the dorms, just the reading lights by each bed, and not even a ray of sun reached the rooms. I also kept seeing open bottles of different alcohol on the tea table whenever I went into the common area, morning, evening, or night. There seemed to be a lot of drinking at the property.
