I wouldn’t recommend Eden Residency, especially to families. I had a confirmed booking on my phone, but in the middle of a hot summer day they refused to check me in, saying hotel policy meant they didn’t accept online bookings through Oyo, mmt, goibibo, or any other platform. I’d read online that this might happen, but figured it was an exception. The person at reception was rude and uncouth, and when I asked for the manager, he just said the manager was asleep. There are plenty of ways to handle confusion like this, but the staff didn’t seem to know basic hospitality. If you’re still thinking of booking online, be prepared for a misadventure.

The owner is such a gem, very humble and polite. I actually saw him hurrying around to make things available, and the food was good too. The rooms were nice, away from the city crowds, and the experience was amazing. The Wi-Fi could use a stronger signal, but it was manageable. Five-star hospitality, enjoy your stay!

I only needed a budget place for one night as a solo traveler, arriving in Jaipur (kukas) at midnight. After I got there, the receptionist said they’d been trying to stop OYO bookings for the past three months and wouldn’t honor mine. With no other option at that hour, I had to pay an extra 1000 for a room. Oddly, the bed still had OYO linens and the toiletries were OYO packaged. It was very inconvenient, and I hope OYO takes this seriously.

The rooms were much nicer than the somewhat gloomy entrance, and the manager was nice too. You might save a few hundred bucks by booking in person instead of online. Had a nice stay overall.

The rooms have basic facilities, but they don’t accept online bookings through mmt or Oyo rooms and similar sites. If your booking is already confirmed, call first to check, or you could run into problems.
