OYO 43050 Hotel Royal Residency

Ashok was the best staff member, very cooperative. I salute him from the bottom of my heart. The owner, on the other hand, was rude and ill-mannered and didn't know how to speak to people. Student mess rates were high too. The restaurant had no discipline, the food was dusty, and there was no cleaning.

The room was always full of flies, and the bathroom was very dirty. No tea or water service, and the food hotel was at least half a kilometre away. The hotel itself was very bad, with high rent, no service boy, and a receptionist with VERY bad behaviour.

I had already paid for the room through OYO, but when I arrived and met the manager, he said there was no room for me. He told me to cancel the booking and complain to OYO. He didn't help at all. My experience at Royal Residency was the worst.

I still don't know what the 7000/- rs charge for 10 days was for. The water in the bathroom could stop at any time, the TV was just for show, and during covid I couldn't even get fresh linens. The bedsheets were very dirty and the washroom was awful. The rooms were tiny and the place unhygienic. I had to keep asking for basics like water, and nobody answered the phone when I rang reception. None of the TV channels worked. I ordered rice, dal, and green salad, but the rice and dal came on a broken plate. The salad arrived 20 minutes later, after I'd finished dinner. Staff came to ask about the room rent at 10 pm, though I think that could be done at any time during the day. Whenever I stepped out, staff would ask if I was checking out.
