The cleanliness needs personal attention, but the hotel itself is small, nicely maintained, and built in a traditional style. We had a great stay for a good price, with a cozy room and modern amenities. It's directly opposite Amer Fort, and the rooms on the top floor have a lovely view of the fort reflected in the water in the moat. There's a well-stocked bar and restaurant open late, and the rent is reasonable.

The nearby locality isn't good, and I'd call it average for a one-day outing. Still, this is an old favorite of mine. Arun in particular gives good service, and the management is polite. You can see Amer Fort from the hotel. There's a bar with different drinks, good food, room service, a large parking area, and wheelchair access in the parking lot. It's near Amer Mahal. Good hotel.

Breakfast is good, though the lunch and dinner menu could use work. It's a budget-friendly place near Amer Fort, with an auto stand nearby for trips into the city. From here, you can easily visit Amer, Jaigarh, and Nehergarh Forts, as well as Jal Mahal. Try for room 101 on the first floor if you can, since it comes with a private terrace and a lovely view of Amer Fort.

The rooms are a bit small, but I had a good experience here. It's a nice hotel right opposite Amber Fort, with good food and fine service. A must-stay.

It's a pretty shoddy hotel, and the restaurant was appalling. We were the only ones there but still waited over 1.5 hours for a simple tea order. They eventually told us the chef was asleep and they couldn't serve us.
