Rooms were clean and the staff were helpful, with tourist spots conveniently nearby. The prices are affordable, so it works for short visits and budget travelers. It's an average hotel, but I had a pleasant stay and the service was decent.

Our tour was made worse by this stay. I was in room 104, where the staff were very rude, and they didn't provide basic items like towels or soap. We weren't told about the services we'd paid for, and they refused basic things that should be provided under the conditions mentioned by the tourism department of India. Telephone service didn't work, food wasn't available, and nobody told us. There was no hot water either. The checkout time was 9 AM, which I believe isn't as per supreme court rule.

We were three people paying 1500rs in the off season, which felt pretty cheap for the service. The hotel staff were courteous and helpful. They may suggest getting a safari package from them for Sam dunes, but I'd avoid buying through a third party. You can go straight to the sam dunes and get a safari much cheaper.

The staff were really nice and happily kept our luggage when we asked, since our train wasn't until the afternoon and we had to leave the room at 9. The room and bathroom were clean enough and the service was really good. They don't have food, but for an overnight stay this can be a good option.

During our tour last year, I visited jaisalmer and had the best memorable day with prem singh and the other staff of sam resort. The hotel staff provided the best service.
