The Bengali Thali was the best dish we had. The rooftop restaurant was excellent, with reasonable prices and fresh food. We didn’t mind waiting a little, and the staff were friendly and kind. They understood veganism and could adapt any dish to be vegan. After a month of traveling in India, this was the best food we’d had.

The food was amazing, and the rooftop had a nice view. The hotel is inside the fort, which made the location a win. When our return bus was unexpectedly canceled, Sukhdeb ji came to our rescue. With the huge crowd and not knowing the city, his help was exactly what we needed. He’d been helpful from booking the hotel through to making sure we reached the bus stop on time after checkout. I totally recommend this place.

We had a lovely dinner on the roof while watching the sunset. The location is great, and our room was spacious and comfortable. We stayed here on our Intrepid tour and really enjoyed it. I’d recommend it to others.

Sukhdeb Mondal at reception deserves a special thank-you. He was polite, helpful, and made the stay go more smoothly. The other staff were friendly and ready to help too. The hotel was comfortable, clean, and well maintained, with a calm, convenient spot for exploring the Fort. I stayed at Deepak Hotel & Restaurant inside the Fort area from 6th December to 7th December, 2025. It was a truly wonderful experience, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting.

The manager personally helped get our luggage to the parking area at the fort gate, since vehicles aren’t allowed inside the fort. The location is excellent, only a short walk from Durga Chowk, and the rooftop restaurant serves Bengali food, which is a big plus. It’s a very good place to stay inside Jaisalmer Fort, with room rates that are perfectly reasonable compared with nearby stays. The manager and many staff members are Bengali, and the manager was especially polite, cooperative, and helpful. Highly recommended for a comfortable stay in the fort.
