OYO 3630 Hotel Ajwa

The owner was rude and aggressive when we complained about the smell, and refused to fix anything. The rooms smelled of mold and sewage, with floors caked in grime, stained sheets, and bathrooms so filthy I wouldn't let a rat stay there. This felt like a biohazard, and years of neglect showed everywhere. The owner was completely unresponsive and showed no basic decency. Stay away unless you hate yourself.

The room smelled awful, and the bedsheet had stains on it, the kind I don't think I need to explain. The toilet paper was yellow and hadn't been changed. The washroom was really dirty, and the room itself was smaller than an average washroom. Staff were impolite, and the TV didn't work even after I asked them three times. I hated this place and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Very bad place.

We'd booked and paid online, but when we arrived at reception the manager shamelessly denied the booking. He said the hotel no longer accepted online reservations and refused to give us a room. It was raining heavily, and we had no idea what to do. He then said rooms were available but asked for much more money than the online price. It felt like they were taking advantage of people who were stranded and demanding extra. A little later, another woman arrived with an online booking and was also turned away, so this seems to be their regular practice. The hotel is run by goons with no ethics, and it's unfortunate that OYO promotes places like this. Zero stars. Please avoid it. I want to save others from the same fate.

Laundry service was the hotel's best feature, and its location near the metro station is useful. For the price, it's acceptable, though I expected more from an OYO room. There wasn't a single window or even a ventilator. OYO's complimentary breakfast felt like it was included in name only, with far too little and poor quality.
