The rooftop terrace is a quiet place to take in lovely views of the city, and the location makes Jaisalmer Fort, Lake Gadisar, and Patwon-ki-Haveli reachable. The rooms are clean, nicely maintained, and comfortably decorated. Staff are friendly and cooperative. Room service is available around the clock for food and drinks, and some guests have reported free Wi-Fi.

The price was over ₹4000 a night, but my family and I had a horrible, uncomfortable stay at Chauhan Palace. I stayed there with my family on December 24, 2024, and the experience was nowhere near what I expected for that cost. The facilities and service didn’t feel worth even ₹500. Our room was so small that the bed took up nearly all the space, with no other furniture and little room to move. The extra blanket was very dirty. Water covered the bathroom floor because it was clogged, making it inconvenient and unsafe. Although we had booked for three people, I had to ask the staff again and again for a third pillow that should have been there already. I hope the team takes these concerns seriously and improves things so other customers don’t have the same experience. Thank you for considering my feedback.

Chouhan palace is a great family hotel in Jaisalmer, with a good location. The tour package, taxi service, jeep safari, and camel ride camp were all nice. A very good stay.
