Hotel Garh Villa

We had a comfortable one night stay at Hotel Garh Villa, and the room had all the necessary amenities. There was ample parking, and the rooftop had a lovely view of the fort. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm and welcoming and made us feel at home.

The rooftop view of jaisalmer fort is hard to beat, and there’s a restaurant up there too, so food is available whenever. It’s only about 5-7 minutes from the gate of The Golden Fort. The place feels like a haveli in disguise, decorated and cared for like the city Golden. Our spacious, well kept rooms had AC, GEYSER, DRYER and the basic amenities. The beds are big enough for three, and they provided extra beds when needed, which made us more comfortable. The people and service were the best part. Firoz bhaiya deserves a special mention, and all the staff and owner made sure we had what we needed. They were friendly, professional and welcoming at every hour. It was a beautiful, affordable stay, and we had a great time.

The owner and staff were so kind and welcoming. Meals weren’t included in our package, but they thoughtfully made food for our baby without charging anything extra, which we really appreciated. We chose a two day package and felt it was completely worth it. The hotel was trustworthy and offered more than promised. Our rooms were beautiful, very clean and well maintained, and close to the fort for sightseeing. The night view of the city and fort from the property was stunning. A memorable stay, and I’d highly recommend it in Jaisalmer.

The rooftop view of Sonar Kella was beautiful, and the room and washroom were spacious and well maintained. The location is excellent, about a five minute walk from the fort gate, with plenty of nearby restaurants if you want to eat out. Restaurant service was a little slow, though. We arrived around 5:30 AM after an overnight journey, even though check-in was at 10 AM. They kindly gave us a room straight away for a small extra charge, which was a relief. They also arranged cars for our customized travel needs, conveniently and well managed. A comfortable stay with good hospitality.
