The rooftop view feels magical, especially after dark, and the hotel is conveniently close to the fort. My room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel Roop Mahal is great value for money. I’d recommend it to anyone needing a place to stay in Jaisalmer.

The owner is really friendly, the rooms are cleaned daily, and the rooftop gives you stunning views of the fort. It’s near Jaisalmer fort in an excellent location. A lovely, affordable hotel that I’d recommend to all kinds of tourists. I had a wonderful stay and will be back soon.

The rooftop has a good view of the Fort, but the room feels very old and doesn’t hold heat well. It gets really cold inside at night, so come prepared. There’s no heater and no kitchen, so you have to order food, which is quite expensive, though it tastes good. Decent hotel overall.

It’s an easy walk to the fort, which makes the location convenient. Room mahal hotel has standard and deluxe rooms, so check the photos or call the owner before booking to confirm which type you want. The rooftop restaurant serves tasty veg and non-veg food. The owner is kind and helpful, and he also has a couple of camps at Sam, so you can arrange your whole 2/3 days trip from the hotel. I’d recommend it to anyone planning a visit to Jaisalmer.

The AC room we booked was comfortable and clean. The welcome from the owner and staff is something we’ll remember. Everyone was friendly and helpful, with good advice throughout our stay. We also went on a camel ride, which was very well organized. I highly recommend this place.
