Hotel Zam Zam Jaisalmer

There were no towels in our room, and we were told straight away that drinking water cost extra. The beds looked visibly unkempt, which made us question the hygiene, and trying to sleep there was miserable. Meals arrived ridiculously late, and the food was disgusting and poorly cooked. The dining area also seemed messy and poorly maintained. The staff were rude and disrespectful whenever we asked for help, making the place feel hostile. Choosing Hotel ZAZA in Jaisalmer was the biggest mistake of our trip. It fell short of basic expectations and turned what should have been a pleasant stay into a frustrating one. I'd strongly advise people to avoid it and spend their money elsewhere for a comfortable, decent stay.

So far, this is the best hotel we've stayed at in India. Hotel Zam Zam has lovely architecture and is beautiful and clean. The rooms are spacious, nicely furnished, and have modern amenities. The Indian hot breakfast was a wonderful way to start the day. I also want to mention Hotel Manager Iqbal bhai.

We booked this hotel as part of a desert dune tour, and the location made the stay really difficult. There was nowhere nearby to eat, so we ended up relying on room service. What they call a rooftop restaurant was just one table and four chairs, and it felt very unhygienic. Our food took 2.5 hours to arrive. It wasn't hot or tasty, and the portions were tiny. The prices were like a five-star hotel, but the quality wasn't. Street food would definitely have been better.
