I only stayed because it was the only hotel I could find in that area, and I managed, but it wasn’t a good experience. Getting there takes a couple of buses from Jammu railway station: one to Vikram chowk, then another to Gangyal petrol pump. The hotel is about 9 kms from the station. The rooms were just okay, smelled like liquor, and didn’t have slippers despite the cold weather. The hangers were awkwardly placed outside the cupboard near the washroom. The washroom was maybe 3/5, with dirty walls and, I think, a mirror that had been removed. Bedding was stained with food, as if the last guest had eaten on the bed, and there was hair on a pillow.
There isn’t much parking, since the place sits on the main highway. Inside, though, it has two halls, one upper ground and one lower ground, plus a lawn. It’s really a banquet hall where people hold weddings, ring ceremonies, and other functions.
The rooms are spacious and clean, and the building has good infrastructure. Still, the food was below average, and neither the AC nor TV had a remote. Online bookings also get rejected, which causes customers trouble. The service is poor.
For the price, the rooms are good enough to stay in, and the hotel is very reasonably priced. The staff, including the manager, were cooperative. It also has an attractive restaurant and bar.
