The room was small, and the bedding was in bad shape, with torn quilts. Not worth it.

The location is very central, beside Raghunath bazaar and Mcdonald’s, but don’t count on a view from the balcony. Parking is a hassle, so make sure your vehicle is left somewhere safe or it could get scratched. The bell boys were nice. The receptionist, though, should learn to smile instead of acting like a cop. Maybe visitors in Jammu are scary and that’s why they have such a grumpy person dealing with customers. For INR 1300 a night, you can’t expect much, but hygiene was pathetic. The toilet was dirty, and the bedsheets were even dirtier and torn, so we slept using our own sleeping bags.

The room was clean and beautiful, which was the one thing I liked. But service was very poor. We were the only guests in an otherwise empty hotel, yet when three of us asked for a sheet instead of a blanket, they refused, saying there wasn’t an extra one anywhere in the hotel. The extra mattress was just a foam sheet, too thin for an ordinary person to fit on.
