Radisson Blu Jammu

My parents kept bothering the call line and room service, as parents do, and Manpreet kour, a lovely waitress, was incredibly patient with them. The staff were so well mannered, something I rarely see in hotels and restaurants. It was my first time at this hotel itself, rather than its restaurant, and I had a great experience. I loved it and will visit again.

The location and atmosphere are good, and the room looks great when you first walk in. It has a wardrobe, iron and stand, locker, minibar, and other amenities. After settling in, though, the TV turned out to be out of order, and the wall reading lamp was just for show, so it’s either lights on or complete darkness. There wasn’t a proper spot for the bath towel, although there was a wall phone. Breakfast was incredible, both the food quality and the service.

The welcome made a real difference. They put tika on our foreheads when we arrived for a wedding, served welcome drinks, and kept drinks available in the lobby. There was even a tea stall. Small touches, but they added to the stay. Staff were helpful and very hospitable. When something we’d requested was delayed, they dealt with it politely and professionally. Our rooms were spacious and nice, the breakfast buffet was good, and the whole experience was great.

Service was good, the staff were cordial, parking was spacious, and the restaurant was hygienic. The reception people were well behaved, morally and ethically. It’s close to Wave mall jammu on Narwal road. The rooms and washroom felt tidy, but the drains seemed blocked, probably by hair, and need attention. For the room’s per day cost, I’d expect healthier options such as yoghurt or roasted nuts instead of sugar and maida. Poha was available, but they should add more meals like dosa and idli, which are healthy, light, complete meals compared with unhealthy sandwiches.
