OYO 24229 Radharani Lodge

The stay was from 3rd Jan 2026 to 4th Jan 2026, not 31st Dec 2025. I booked offline. During checkout, a child spoke to us disrespectfully on the road as we were getting into a taxi, asking whether we’d signed. We had already signed and completed checkout in front of the supervisor. At check-in, they also asked an unnecessary personal question, “Are you a couple?” That’s inappropriate, especially when the hotel claims to be couple-friendly and the booking clearly said 1 room, 2 adults. The room wasn’t ready at check-in, so we waited almost 30 minutes for cleaning, and basic items like a mug, towel and even soap weren’t provided. Staff took my ID card and didn’t return it until I asked more than once. The pillows were rotten, the bed was in very bad condition, and hygiene was extremely poor. A supervisor who came to call the helper for cleaning appeared drunk and smelled terrible, which felt unprofessional and unsafe. No one showed basic courtesy or even asked if we needed drinking water. It was an extremely pathetic experience, with no basic hospitality, professionalism, hygiene or respect. One of the worst hotel stays I’ve had. I wouldn’t recommend it at all.

The rooms are unhygienic, with no maintenance. Staff are pleasant until the room is booked, then they turn rude, and the manager is consistently rude and undisciplined. Food portions are small and the food is poor. They can’t provide GST bills, and charge extra if you ask for one. I wouldn’t recommend visiting this lodge.

The staff were polite and well behaved, and the room was neat, clean, quiet, spacious and well maintained. It’s about 700 mts from NJP station, within walking distance, and around 3.5 km from Hong Kong Market.

The location was perfect and the whole visit felt relaxing. At Hotel Radha Rani, the staff were very polite and helpful, the room was clean, comfortable and well maintained, and the food was delicious with quick service. I had a wonderful stay.
