The owner was the highlight of our stay, such a humble, kind person. He even arranged a car for us to Darjeeling, which helped a lot. The place itself was clean and comfortable, and we'd definitely come back.

My mother became seriously ill in the middle of the night, and when my father and I tried to get her to a hospital, we were left to manage on our own. The house was locked. The owner told me about one key, but not the gate key, then gave me another key when I called again and said he wouldn't be able to take any more calls. He was staying downstairs in the same house, something he had never told us, but didn't come to check on us. Other problems had already made the stay difficult. At check-in I was told there was an extra 300 charge for AC, though I couldn't find that in the check-in rules or on goibibo. There was no soap in the bathroom, the water spray didn't work, and the TV recharge he promised never worked either. I don't usually write reviews, but I found the owner greedy and lacking in humanity. If you run into trouble, I don't think he'll help. The apartment isn't worth the price listed on giibibo or makemytrip.

The location worked really well, close to Siliguri College of Commerce. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the host was very nice too.

Pranoy and Pranab were responsive whenever we needed them, and the rooms were clean with good amenities. The kitchen had a microwave and fridge. The property is tucked away somewhere quiet and calming, even though the main road is just a short walk away. One thing to keep in mind, there's a flight of stairs, so it may not suit someone very old or with hip or knee problems.
