We had a group booking of around 10-12 rooms for a friend's wedding, and the poor coordination made the whole stay stressful. Staff couldn't handle simple requests, gave us unclear information, and treated guests like a nuisance. When we asked for basic help, reception either answered rudely or ignored us. There was no hospitality or professionalism, and the careless management spoiled what should have been a happy wedding visit. If that's how they treat a large booking, I can't imagine how they treat others. Save your money and avoid this hotel. Absolutely NOT recommended.

We ended up back in Siliguri a day early on our way to Delhi because the weather during our long-awaited Darjeeling holiday turned hostile. Hotel Amaravati was a pleasant surprise for a budget-friendly price. From Station Feeder Road, it was easy to get around town, including Hong Kong Market and Bidhan Market. Our room had the amenities we needed, the food was outstanding, and the staff were very helpful. A much-recommended option for both business and leisure travelers. My wife and I stayed one night in October 2025.

On November 13, 2025, Rotary Club Siliguri Umeed celebrated two Rotarians' birthdays at Hotel Amravati. The food was delicious and the service was thoughtful and professional, with every detail looked after. The venue's lovely atmosphere, comfortable seating, cleanliness, and high standards made us feel special, almost as if we'd stepped somewhere far beyond our city. We enjoyed good time together and warm camaraderie. It turned an ordinary day into an unforgettable celebration. Thank you, Hotel Amravati and all your staff, for making the event memorable. The staff were pleasant, but the amenities were very poor. There were no closets in the rooms, and the fans either didn't work or ran at full speed. Power kept tripping at random. The taxi service was exorbitantly priced, and the food was okay but pricey, as usual. My elderly parents had a bad experience.

The hotel has developed into a genuinely professional place to stay and enjoy a good meal at its restaurant, ANUBHUTI. Mr. Angshuman Chatterjee (Ex Faculty - IHM Kolkata) is among the stalwarts mentoring it, alongside people such as Mr. Amit Singh as GM. I have rarely seen a transformation like this. A perfect spot in Siliguri.
