I chose a hotel instead of home after 10 years because I was upset with my family and wanted to see my granny on her last day. She died on the 6th. I don't recommend this hotel for couples either. We ended up only having breakfast at their restaurant before moving to Hotel Sabera, where the hospitality and professionalism were far better. The other restaurant staff were good, but I was upset by the attitude of the people handling our booking. I booked through the redbus website on 5th June, after reaching Siliguri, my hometown, with my husband for my grandmother's medical emergency. The site said couple friendly, so I hadn't called the restaurant first. At arrival, they smiled and asked for our IDs and relationship, then questioned us repeatedly even after we explained the emergency. My Aadhaar and identity documents still had my guardian name and address of solitude in Siliguri, and my husband is from kolkata. They asked for a marriage certificate and photos, which we hadn't brought since we'd booked a couple friendly hotel for just one day. Then they said the local ID in my name wasn't allowed under company policy. The receptionist, who was Nepali, had a disgusting, unprofessional manner and personality. I didn't ask whether he was the manager. This was only a 2-star property, and their careless attitude made the experience worse.

Nice experience. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially the room service boy and the reception boy. I liked the way they spoke. The room was clean and hygiene was maintained well. Opening the window brought a smell that disappointed me, though. They should focus on cleaning that drin.

The staff's attitude made the whole stay unpleasant. From check-in through check-out, they were rude and unhelpful, and we felt like a burden instead of guests. Even basic requests, like clean towels or room service, were ignored or took hours. For what they charge, I expected some professionalism. The staff showed little respect or customer service, and it completely ruined the experience.

Secure parking was a plus, and my parents enjoyed the stay while traveling with me. The staff behaved extremely well. In one word, value for money. We'll surely visit again.

The location was excellent, and both the staff and security guards were well mannered. The rooms felt a bit boxy, but they had plenty of stuff. A good experience overall.
