Majestic View Cottages

My family recently stayed at Majestic View Cottage, and the property is in a perfect location. The team made everything smooth from check-in through check-out, and the room was clean and comfortable with impressive amenities. The staff were welcoming, attentive and went out of their way to make our visit enjoyable. Thanks so much, Mr. Pritam Kashyap. I highly recommend it.

Majestic View Cottage in Jibhi is a peaceful place to unwind, with lovely mountain scenery all around. The rooms are cozy and well kept, and the warm hospitality makes it a great fit for anyone who loves nature and the quiet beauty of the Himalayas. Highly recommended for a relaxing getaway.

The breakfast was disgusting, and dinner was only okay. The service was very poor, and the hotel couldn't even give us a glass of hot water when we had children with us. After taking payment for two cottages and a double room with breakfast and dinner, the staff told us there was no electricity in the area and none expected until at least the next day. They offered no compensation, and this so-called 3-star hotel had no power backup. It felt like they were just looting people. Worthless place, pathetic service. Guest houses are better. Don't waste your money here.

There was no view of nature like the listing advertised. The rooms smelled of cigarettes, and the bins were full of wine and whiskey bottles and cigarette butts. Staff also behaved badly toward me. When we arrived, the sign was closed and nobody was at reception, though we found a receptionist after a while. The hotel is 50 metres uphill, so we had to hike up. Staff carried our bags to the rooms, but every bag was dirty and scratched, and one was broken. They blamed the driver, but even after we contacted the driver to find out who was responsible, the staff and manager still denied that their staff had caused the damage. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. Avoid it in Jibhi.
