The property is lovely, with a great landscaped green area and well-furnished living, hall, and dining spaces. The food tastes like good home cooking, and both the caretaker and host are caring. It’s quite far from the city centre, though. The non-veg portions are small, and breakfast is a fixed menu every day with limited choices. It would be better if they could customize meals to guests’ needs. There are no starters or snacks at dinner, just some frozen items.

The caretaker was warm and welcoming, and I really enjoyed trying the tasty Rajasthani food for the first time. The cottage is in a quiet spot with a spectacular hill view, modern interiors, spacious rooms, a terrace, and a large lawn. Nearby places suggested for a visit include Mandor gardens, Mehrangarh Fort, Umaid Bhavan, and clock tower.

With Colonel Sir's guidance, our trip to Jodhpur and Jaisalmer was easy to manage. Mrs Sing runs the place professionally but gives it a homely feel. It’s an excellent place to stay for both younger and older guests.
