Jaswant Niwas

The rooms were spacious and spotless, the property felt good to stay in, and breakfast was tasty. Mr. Hemant was kind and helped us explore the city. One awkward moment came at checkout. We’d asked for tea around 7 pm because the night curfew made it hard to find somewhere else, and Mr. Hemant had called earlier to check on our stay, so we mentioned the request then. We only wanted tea. A member of the host’s family later said in a rather annoying way that this wasn’t a hotel and they couldn’t fulfill our demands. We know a homestay isn’t a hotel, but we’d only asked because of the restrictions. Still, it’s a good place to stay, and I hope the host won’t take this the wrong way.

At Jaswant Niwas Home stay, it felt like being at home, with lovely people, great rooms, and delicious food. The atmosphere was lovely and the hospitality was great. I’d highly recommend staying here.

Breakfast was thoughtfully prepared each day, and the rooms were both spacious and clean. The owner and his wife were incredibly welcoming, and they were always ready to help us out, from local tips to transportation. We had a wonderful stay.

What stood out was how the whole family made us feel welcome, including their cute little dog, 'Dizzy'. Leena Singh served us a delicious breakfast, brought out warmly by their well-brought-up son Suryanshu. The house felt warm and inviting, and the couple running it were friendly and extremely helpful. Mr Hemant gave us useful advice while helping plan our holiday, including which road would save time, where to shop, and places to eat. The amenities were all just right, and hygiene was carefully looked after. We had a very comfortable stay and hope to come back. I highly recommend this home away from home.
