The main drawback is parking. During the day, the road was blocked to vehicles, so getting a car to the hotel was impossible. In my case they arranged an alternative place to park. Otherwise, it was worth the price: the food was excellent, the staff were nice, especially monty, and you can enjoy a lovely view of the fort from the hotel. It’s right in the main market at the foot of meharangarh fort, within walking distance.

The terrace feels like nirvâna in the evenings. It’s full of flowers, like a wonderful garden, and is so calm, away from the city noise, with a lovely view of the fort. We eat here every evening during our week-long return visit, seven years after we were last there. The food is delicious, and the brothers Karan and Bhomsingh, who manage the place, are so nice. Full recommendation!

The hotel is in the middle of a busy local market, and the pictures they share on their site are fake, so please stay away. Our room had dust on the furniture, stained bedsheets, and a bad smell in the bathroom. Staff seemed uninterested in helping with our concerns. Temple bells around 4-5am made it hard to sleep, and the noise was unacceptable. For the price, I expected better service and basic cleanliness. I wouldn’t recommend it or come back.

It’s right in the dense market, very close to Ghanta Ghar and Toorji Jhalra. Rooms are good for the price, though service seems to depend on one man. There’s no lift, so senior citizens may want to avoid it.
