The staff were cooperative with clients, and the rooms were spacious and neat. The toilets were properly maintained too. I had a fantastic check-in at Megha Resort and highly recommend it to people coming to Jorhat for work or personal reasons.

At the price, these rooms aren’t even worth 500 per night. There was no maintenance, the room was dusty, and the bedsheets, towels, pillows, and other things were dirty. I had plenty of company from cockroaches, mosquitoes, and lizards. One cockroach even crawled across my face while I was sleeping 🤢. When we arrived, they charged us double what we’d been told when booking online. Unless you have no other choice, I’d pick somewhere else.

There’s good parking space here, and it’s a good venue for weddings, parties, and similar events.

When I checked in, they demanded an extra 1000rs even though I’d already booked and paid online. I refused, and they put us in the worst room. They also wouldn’t refund the booking when I tried to cancel, and the owner misbehaved with my family. After a lot of arguing, we got a better room, but there was no electricity for a long time, no generator, a bathroom door that wouldn’t lock, and a balcony door locked from outside. Worst experience ever. If you’re reading this, DONOT VISIT THIS HOTEL. Sleeping in your car is better the staying here.
