OYO 19453 Hotel Holy Basil

I was in Haridwar for a friend’s engagement ceremony and stayed at Hotel Holy Basil. The location worked well since it was close to the venue, so getting around was easy. The rooms were comfortable and well maintained, and the staff were polite, attentive, and made sure we had what we needed. I didn’t get to try the food, but I had a very good experience overall. Hotel Holy Basil is a place I’d recommend to travellers visiting Haridwar for its comfort, location, and hospitality.

The service was really bad. The staff who attended to me didn’t listen to the customer. A terrible experience.

I stayed overnight at Hotel Holy Basil. The room was comfortable and the staff were friendly and accommodating, which made it an enjoyable stay. Dinner and breakfast were the real highlight, both were exceptional, with fresh flavours and an impressive variety. You can tell care goes into preparing the meals.

The washbasin drained horribly slowly, and the mug was cracked. The bedsheet and pillow cover were torn, and both the jet spray and shower were broken. When we complained, they said they couldn’t do anything and refused to change our room. I can’t believe they call this a hotel. A terrible experience, please don’t book it. Even at 500rs, it wouldn’t be worth it.
