The bathroom was a struggle: the shower barely trickled, there was no hot water, and the flush worked only when it felt like it. The room also had a strong, awful smell from the moment I opened the door. Add a creaky fan and flickering light, and it felt like a haunted place. I’d booked a non-AC room, which was my mistake, but paying another ₹300-400 just for some cool air felt like daylight robbery. Honestly, I’d rather sleep in my car or under a tree next time. Not worth even half the price, unless you’re taking on a worst-hotel survival challenge. Half a star only because I made it through the night.

I booked for August 9 through Booking.com, but when I arrived the manager said they were full and had no room for me. He told me to call customer service, and I cancelled the booking. The way the website and hotel handled it was very unprofessional and felt like they were cheating customers.

The hotel’s name had been changed without telling me beforehand. There was no food or drinking glass available, and no proper reception or hotel service. Just a caretaker to record entries. This deserved a -3 rating. Avoid completely.

The rooms are old and smelly, and the bathrooms are really unclean. I wouldn’t recommend it.

The rooms are spacious and clean, and the receptionist was mild-mannered. It’s about 6 km from Kakinada beach, so having your own vehicle makes things easier, especially since you may need to travel for meals.
