Nexstay Xenia GCDA Kakkanad

The city views from my room were excellent, and the room was spacious, tidy, and clean. The location is right in the heart of Kakkanad town, which is very convenient, though it may be a little tricky to reach. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout. I had a truly excellent stay.

The rooms were decent for the options available, with good upkeep and none of that cheap OYO feel. My AC room was spacious, with a roomy bathroom and a space for reading. The staff were friendly too. We did find the hotel a bit hard to locate.

There are very good vegetarian and non-vegetarian food options within walking distance. During my two days at the hotel, it was peaceful and relaxing, with hardly any noise from the nearby rooms or corridors. The staff were very nice and helpful.

For the money, this is a good budget stay. The building has five floors and a lift, with check-in at 2 pm and checkout at noon. The room was clean, though there was some wear and tear, and hot water was available 24×7. Service was average. There’s no kitchen or tea and coffee, only bottled drinking water. Payment can be made by cash, card, or UPI. The hotel is near kakkanad center, opposite Aryas restaurant, but the approach road is steep and narrow. Parking is cramped and only fits a few cars.
