SPOT ON 48399 Hotel Sitaram Palace

The rooms were noisy because the hotel is on the main road, and the stay itself wasn’t good. Bedsheets were torn, rooms were unclean, the bathroom bulb didn’t work, and the flush was broken. The staff service was okay at first, but the manager spoiled that too. He took our phone to check an OYO message, then gave his own hotel five stars and called it excellent.

The owner sat at reception and treated guests badly. My seven friends and I booked three rooms through OYO, but there were no extra mattresses, and the owner refused to provide extra beds, telling us to ask OYO because we had booked through them. We also got no water in the rooms. He was uncooperative and spoke to all of us in a cheap, disrespectful way. The management, rooms, staff, owner’s behavior, and bathroom cleanliness were all poor. I’d tell people not to book here, and OYO should give its dealership to genuine hotels.

Mr. Amit Singh, the owner, was very hospitable. The rooms were clean, the bathrooms were big, and there was a cyber cafe for internet. It’s in the city center with public transport easy to reach, and the people are welcoming to budget travelers. There’s no elevator.

CAUTION: I booked because the site showed an excellent rating and hygienic room pictures, but the room they gave us was different and smelled awful. It also had an Indian toilet. One of the worst stays I’ve had, absolutely miserable.
