I ordered egg biryani and found a piece of chicken in the gravy. The staff told me they use chicken gravy for slow-selling dishes like egg biryani. That's concerning, especially for someone with a chicken allergy who might think they're eating an egg-only dish. Food separation matters for customer safety. The price was high, they charged the full amount, and I didn't expect this from a reputed restaurant. Very disappointing.

The service at the local bar was very, very poor. Why assume only locals come to a local bar? The cooperation from your bar was awful. I'm a senior chef at a leading Indian hotel, so I know what I'm talking about. The billing, though, was excellent.

The atmosphere at Rock Rose was pleasant, and the service was prompt. I had the meals for lunch today and was impressed by how fresh, flavorful, and well cooked everything was. A satisfying, wholesome meal, and definitely worth a visit.

For a laid-back evening with local friends, the bar at Rock Rose Tourist Home is a decent option. It’s a non-AC place with average decor, though the large screen showing movies or sports adds to the atmosphere. There’s plenty of parking, especially for two-wheelers, and the covered area keeps vehicles out of the rain and hot sun. The food is flavorful, and service is decent. It’s been running for many years, which gives it some local charm. The washrooms are well kept, a nice surprise for this kind of establishment, even if there are a few minor limitations. The friendly, comfortable setting is enough for a casual get-together.
