Shalom Residency

The rooms were satisfactory, but the service was terrible. They didn't even leave drinking water in the room, and some basic facilities were missing. The lady on reception was the worst I've seen, not friendly at all. They behaved like strict hostel wardens.

The place isn't well maintained, whatever the website photos show, and it felt like a hostel with a warden watching over things. Staff were uncooperative and service was poor. The gates close at 12 AM, so don't expect to go out at night. Better places are nearby, so don't waste your money. I'm never coming back.

For a reasonable rate, the guest house has two AC bedrooms with big beds and attached toilets. There's also a kitchen with the necessary utensils, a fridge, gas, and a dining area, plus seating arrangements. The staff are friendly and helpful. A very good choice for families.

We didn't feel at home at Shalom residency. It felt like a hostel, which wasn't worth the price, and our experience was very bad. The caretaker lady on the ground floor was rude when we asked her to explain the bill after the first month. She said we didn't understand it and could leave to find another place if we weren't happy. Because of Covid and time constraints, we stayed another two months, and paid for three months in all. We also paid 5k in advance each month, but she said it couldn't be reimbursed. They kept asking for extra money for everything. I don't recommend staying here.
