Sri Ganesh Mahal

The dining area was good, and the Mahal has a lift. The mandapam feels very pleasant and rich, with a pleasant ambience. It can easily accommodate 500 people. Parking is available inside and opposite the Mahal too.

We attended a relative's marriage today. There are around ten to fifteen rooms, and the hall has two large LCD screens, comfortable seating and a decently sized dining area. It's a good marriage hall for middle high class families. The only drawback is parking, which can fit around twenty cars.

The room was neat, the heater worked well, the lights were good and the lawn was nice. They provided a water bottle, towel and soap. But for the money, I still can't recommend this place. There are many options in Pondicherry, though our last-minute trip meant we had to adjust. The accessories in the washroom were broken, as shown in the images, there was no lift, and the bed was so springy it felt like sleeping on bare springs without a cushion. A lizard under the dressing table crawled onto my feet, so we had to move it out before we could sleep peacefully. Water was blocked on the floor by the commode. It's a wedding hall, and the rooms are rented out when it's off-season. The watchman was always busy watching reels or shorts on his phone. He didn't help carry our luggage or anything, but we still offered him 50 rupees. He demanded 100 rupees. Visit only if you're short on budget and can't find anything available on any website.

Bring your towel. I can't think of anything negative, unless there's a marriage on that particular day.
