Silent Valley Resort

That campfire felt almost like a scene from a dream. We had such a calm, lovely time, with a homely feeling that made it easy to forget everything else. From the welcome to the end of our stay, the staff were great. The food was top quality, and we had fun with the activities and pool. Our room was spacious, well maintained, and comfortable, as were the villas. The window views and flower gardens were lovely too. I'd happily recommend a visit, and would come back whenever I can. 🌻

The food was the best part for us, and the rooms were spotless. We also loved the view. Everything felt comfortable, and this was one of the best trips I've taken. I'd love to return again and again 🫶

The staff worked really hard, even gathering wood for the evening fireworks. Food service was good too. The first day's meal wasn't great, but on the second day there was lots of tasty variety. The rooms are roomy, though the curtains need replacing because they're too see-through. Our room was by the pool, which made changing clothes uncomfortable.

The first cottage we booked had ants, and since it couldn't be changed that day, the staff did what they could with repellents. We were moved to a villa the next day, and it was superb. The gate's King Kong is pretty scary. The resort itself is beautiful, with plenty to do, and the pool looked inviting, though it was winter so we skipped swimming. Staff were responsive and gave us the trekking details. They helped pack food for our trek and arranged an early breakfast. Dinner buffets were great, and they even brought room service after our late check-in. There's also parking and a place for drivers to stay.
