The beds were very comfortable, and the service staff stayed courteous and responsive. Rooms were well kept, with useful extras like bathroom supplies, an iron and board, and a small fridge. Breakfast had a decent buffet selection. The one small downside was that the swimming pool could have been cleaner. For Rs. 4.5k per room including breakfast, it was comfortable and good value. I'd recommend it and might return after checking other options at this price.

For a hotel we expected to be a proper four-star property, the service and facilities were frustratingly poor. Three adults had only one bottle of water in the room. After we asked for more, staff brought three bottles that looked like refilled, previously used disposable bottles. They said the bottles had been cleaned when we questioned it, but serving water that way isn't acceptable at a four-star hotel. The room also had no minibar fridge. We had to call reception six times for basic things: a dental kit, drinking water, the TV remote, tissue paper, two plates, and an explanation of the bathroom door confusion. The stay didn't meet four-star standards.

I was there on 15th Jan with my wife and our 2-year-old, and it was the worst service experience. We checked out early, by 7 AM, and had asked ahead for breakfast. They refused, even when we asked for basic food for the baby, like milk and chapati or idli. In seven days of staying at hotels in different cities, every other hotel arranged food for the baby. Bathing her was also a mess: there was no tap (tap), tub, or bucket, so we'd have to get completely wet to wash her, and using the shower to wash your feet is absurd. There was no drinking water in the room. I called twice, waited over 35 minutes, then went down from the third floor myself. They tried to justify it and charged ₹60 extra for basic drinking water. The room was missing everything, including slippers, soap, toothpaste, a brush, kettle, shower cap, and mug. When I asked why, they said those things were available only on request. Even ₹700-1000 hotels give better service. The worst stay of our Kerala trip, and a big waste of money. Stay away.

We stayed for one night at the end of Jan, and the staff were so caring. When we got back late from the beach, they called and waited for us, then reminded us several times not to miss breakfast. Many places don't take that kind of care, and with kids along I was really grateful. The balcony doesn't offer much of a view, which isn't something you can expect in town anyway. Apart from that, everything was very good and well maintained.
