Seclude Kerala Marari Sands Resort Hotel

Ms. Alona at reception made our stay comfortable from check-in through check-out. She was friendly, attentive, and very professional, and deserves special thanks. The rooms, ambiance, food, and overall experience were excellent. Seclude Kerala, Marari Sands is beautiful and well maintained, right by the beach, with a peaceful setting that’s perfect for unwinding. The whole team helped make the stay memorable. We’d gladly return and recommend it for a quiet beach getaway in Kerala.

The food was par excellence, and the cooks and kitchen staff deserve kudos for all the culinary delights. What made our stay especially lovely was the pleasant, professional team, always ready to help. Under Nadeem’s good leadership, they went out of their way to make everything wonderful. The warm, sunny south of India feels like a magical dream, and Kerala really is God’s own country, as they say. Thank you, Seclude, for making that dream come true. Words hardly express how much I appreciate the gracious hospitality. I couldn’t ask for more and feel truly grateful. I’m already counting the days until my next stay.

The buffet breakfast and dinner were decent, hygienic, and satisfactory, though the spread was average rather than extensive. The pool is small and works for families, but sometimes it wasn’t very clean. The rooms were comfortable, with pool-view and beach-view options. Some beach-view rooms have an open-roof washroom, a refreshing and unusual touch after the beach. There’s no in-room phone for room service, so you need to call the host, though service was generally quick and cooperative. Secured Kerala Marari Sands feels open and peaceful, with a private beach and no public access. The grounds are spacious, well maintained, and have plenty of open areas, making them kid-friendly. Parking is easy because the resort is large; the approach road gets a bit narrow during the last 1-2 minutes, then it’s easy to reach. The host and staff were warm, polite, and responsive. A calm beachside place with a private feel and relaxed atmosphere, especially suitable for families with kids.

Our experience at Seclude Kerala, Marari Sands was very disappointing. The staff response was unsatisfactory and the hospitality felt extremely poor. What we saw at the resort did not match the Google pictures at all, including its actual condition and ambience. For a beachside property, there was no lifeguard or proper security guard at the private beach, which made the stay feel unsafe and poorly managed. Based on our visit, the Google rating of 4 stars seems highly misleading. I’d put the resort at around 2 to 2.5 stars. The prices aren’t justified by the service and facilities, and I wouldn’t recommend it as worth the budget.
