I spent 3 nights with my family in a mountain view room. From the bed, the mountain view was mesmerizing, and the ambience was lovely throughout. The restaurant and bar have all weather AC, the food and beverage were very good, parking has plenty of space, and there’s a lovely lawn behind the resort and a swimming pool. There’s also an EV charging station. The people across the front desk, restaurant, and housekeeping were very helpful and cooperative. Miss. Kashmi and Miss. Subekshya at the front desk were polite and helpful, and Mr. Raju from housekeeping was also very helpful, cooperative, and well mannered. Some things could be better: the approach road is too steep, around 35-40°. The rooms and lobby don’t have all weather AC, the pool isn’t temperature controlled, and the mountain view room has no balcony. The bath area also lacks a glass sliding door to stop water splashing. Still, one of the best places to stay at Kalimpong, a ⭐⭐⭐⭐ property.

The staff were consistently warm, polite, and helpful, and I appreciated their hospitality. The beautiful view, peaceful and well maintained lawn, and surroundings were real positives during our 3 days with family at ITC WelcomHeritage Glenburn Kalimpong. But I honestly didn’t feel it offered a true 5-star experience. We were in Room 302, where an unpleasant bathroom smell persisted throughout the stay, and the bathroom’s cleanliness and upkeep fell short of luxury hotel expectations. Dining was another disappointment: breakfast and dinner had very limited options, and the food quality and presentation felt more like a 3-star property than a premium luxury hotel. The location, ambience, and staff behavior were commendable, but maintenance and dining fell well short of 5-star standards. I hope management takes the feedback constructively and improves these areas.

The quiet tea session on the lawn was a memorable, scenic treat. We had a beautiful stay at ITC Fortune Kalimpong in September, with excellent service from warm, courteous, attentive staff. Preetam thoughtfully arranged our top-floor rooms, where the view felt heavenly, like being above the clouds. I’d love to visit again and highly recommend it.

We stayed for 3 nights and weren’t very happy with the experience. The pool was closed for renovation, though we had been told that beforehand. The rooms could have been better, and the hospitality should have been much better for a property using the ITC BRAND. We’ve stayed at ITC properties before, and this visit didn’t meet those standards.

From the valet to reception, everyone was warm and welcoming, and they accommodated every request from my 3 and 6 year olds. Neither my children nor I ever felt uncomfortable or hushed. The room was clean and safe for the kids, with new furniture and fresh linen. Facilities were commendable, and we had a very comfortable stay that felt like good value for money. One of the friendliest places I’ve visited in recent memory.
