OYO 22832 Roopkatha Hotel @ Resort

I blame the management more than the two staff members left to run the place. This hotel may once have been thriving, but now the staff and management seem to neglect the property, and we were very dissatisfied with the service. Our room's geyser didn't work, and staff couldn't fix it when we asked. The bathroom had black stains on the floor, the flush didn't work, rooms weren't clean, and the sheets weren't changed, with stains and hair on them. The TVs didn't work either. There was no electric kettle in the room, though staff did arrange one when we asked. Forget free breakfast, not even a cup of tea was readily available. There's no restaurant in the hotel, though a good one is opposite. What's it like to have no working geyser at a hill station?

The hotel view was amazing and the staff were friendly. We stayed one day, and our room and bathroom were clean. Dinner tasted good, and the eating area was kept very clean too. Good overall. 😌😌

The sunrise from the hotel was just awesome, and you can see deolo park from the room. The receptionist was very helpful, polite, and good in behavior. Our room was beautiful, clean, neat, and tidy, with a heater to keep warm in winter. Loved the room and hotel.

On my first visit to Kalimpong, I found Hotel Roopkatha phenomenally awesome. You get a nice view of the hills from the window balcony, and the staff are kind and helpful. The service is excellent. Must try this hotel if you want the best!
