Mr. Shankar at reception made the whole experience especially smooth. He was welcoming, professional, polite, and helpful, and handled everything efficiently. Our room was clean and neat, and the hotel as a whole felt hygienic and comfortable, so we could really relax. I had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Silver Oak and would recommend it to anyone after a clean, comfortable place with professional staff.

The manager was good, but the service wasn’t what I expected. My room phone didn’t work. They offered complimentary breakfast, but when I went to the restaurant after 10:30 am, they said it wasn’t complimentary anymore. Even when I was ready to pay, there was no food available, so you have to bring something from outside. They also said hot water was only available until 10:30, and that you might not get any even before 10 am. Management should sort these problems out.

I got a last-minute booking and still had a good experience. The hotel was good overall, with nice rooms and staff. It’s also conveniently near the station, market, and bus stand.

We booked two nights for our Ooty trip. The rooms were lovely, well maintained, and had all the facilities we needed. The surroundings were nice too, and hotel options nearby were easy to find. Service was good.
