Hotel Garden Manor is handy if you want to get around Ooty easily. Most attractions are close by, so we hardly needed transport, and the Botanical Garden, Rose Garden, Government Museum/Colony area, and Moddy’s Chocolates were all easy to reach. We enjoyed seeing the football stadium from our room window. The room was cozy and comfortable for a couple, though it might feel a bit small for a family with a child or infant. We mainly used the hotel as a place to stay and were happy with the experience. If convenience and location matter most while exploring Ooty, it’s a good choice.

The hotel is close to the Botanical Garden, which made getting there easy, though the road is sometimes closed because of one-way traffic. There’s car parking in front of the hotel. I stayed one night with my family. The room was compact but clean and tidy, and good value for the price. Breakfast was okay.

Raja deserves a special thanks. The room was clean and comfortable, staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was convenient, close to the Botanical Garden. We had a pleasant stay and felt it was good value for money.

The rooms felt extremely cramped, with only about 90 square feet to move around or keep luggage. The central location was handy for reaching the Ooty Market, Botanical Garden, and pure vegetarian restaurants.

The location was good, but the room we got didn’t match the booking. We’d reserved a deluxe room with a mountain view and were put on the ground floor, facing the road instead. There was no heater either, which made the stay uncomfortable. When we told the staff, they directed us to complain through Agoda and didn’t try to sort it out. I couldn’t get through to Agoda customer care. The experience fell short of what had been promised, and the room allocation and service need improvement.
