I booked two standard rooms with a shared space for four guests for my parents and another family, for May 12 and 13, 2019. They had the worst experience they've had so far, and I'm relieved they were only there for a day. The room facilities they claimed to have didn't work properly. There was poor cleaning, flies all day, malfunctioning geysers, and not enough food or even water. There was no parking either. The shared space was later taken over by other tourists without any warning, so my parents and the other family lost their privacy. The free breakfast for four was a medium bowl of upma, not enough even for two. I paid the full amount, but the place wasn't worth a penny. Its 8.1 Trivago rating was what convinced me to book; I can't believe such a disgusting place was rated so highly there. I deeply regret booking it. I strongly don't recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, memorable stay in Ooty. It can spoil the whole trip.

Poorly run, please avoid it. We knocked for 15 to 20 minutes before anyone answered, because reception was shut and locked from inside. The ground-floor bathroom flush didn't work; when we complained, the manager told us to put up with it for a day. We had to keep chasing him for soap and towels. There was no basic courtesy or hotel etiquette.

The hotel's map location was wrong and it took us an hour to find it. The rooms were average, the bathroom door had no lock, and the geyser didn't work at all. Although I booked breakfast, all we got were two idlis, which was nowhere near worth the price. The place is isolated from the market, there's no service, the car has nowhere to park, and the bedsheets were stained and dirty. The hotel didn't care enough to change them. This was the worst hotel experience of my life. Don't waste your money here.

It was a complete waste of money. The stay was far too expensive for such a badly maintained hotel, with dirty floors, poor service from the owner, no clean water, and no hot water when I needed it. One of the worst hotels I've seen. I wouldn't recommend it.

You really need your own vehicle here. The place is isolated on a hill with nothing nearby, and there aren't even streetlights along the way. The rooms are two-star, but the view, natural surroundings, atmosphere, and rooftop are all excellent.
